New module packaging

After a successful market test, we will deliver the pv-modules gradually in new packaging from January 2009.

Heckert-Solar will deliver its powerful series of modules such as PXL, MXL and PL from January 2009 gradually in a new transport / stock packaging. Extensive market tests with several customers were preceded, which were able to check the suitability for daily use for the first samples of the new packaging. The feedback was unambiguously: The new cardboard container facilitates the work remarkably, since only one person is able to unpack the modules on site.
The elaborated cardboard construction achieves two assignments brilliantly. On the one hand it saves the frames of the modules through distance protections and on the other it avoids the tilting over of unloaded modules. The precondition is that you only release the front ribbon, because the rear ribbon braces the Paperboard container until the removal of the last module. By elimination of previously distance pieces there are only two main materials left which have to be leaded to the recycling loop: the cardboard of the paperboard container and the wood of the expendable pallets (which was recently introduced on numerous customer requests).
The packaging of the PXL-/MXL – standard modules contains maximum 17 units, the packaging of the smaller PL – modules maximum 26 units. With that, one pallet covers over 3,6 kWP (PXL 215) and accordingly 3,7 kWp (PL145) of the actual power output. The packaging price is standardized with 15 EUR per pallet.
