Heckert Solar becomes a Member of the Environmental Alliance of Saxony
Certificate has been given personally by the Saxon State Minister for Environment and Agriculture.
On the 1st of July the Saxon state minister for environment and agriculture Kupfer has handed over to the Heckert Solar AG the official certificate of the admission in the Environmental Alliance of Saxony. The founder and CEO of the Heckert Solar AG, Mr. Xaver Trinkerl, accepted the document with joy in present of the president of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Chemnitz, Mr. Lohse. In the linking up walk through the plant Mr. Trinkerl could introduce the highly automated manufacturing line of high-class solar modules for renewable electricity production - Made in Germany. Moreover, one visited together the new built facility far advanced in the meantime which will offer place for new lines with a capacity of 300 MWp/years. State minister Kupfer was pleased in his statement, „that we can record Heckert Solar - as one of the most innovative companies in the region of Chemnitz - in the Environmental Alliance Saxony. Without doubt you are with your company forerunners in the matter of‚ future technologies‘.“
The Heckert Solar AG handles resources and energy consumption with special care and big commitment – being active in one of the environment friendly production segments. This is valid for the consumption of electricity, water and heating energy as, e.g., also for waste separation. The electricity demand is covered partly about an own photovoltaic system which has by the electricity production of 46,000 kWh since its start at the beginning of September, 2009 saved already more than 23 t CO2. Also rainwater is caught and used among other things for the custom water supply to save per year approx. 1.5 million l of drinking water. For the heating the company uses nearly exclusively rejected heat from the module production. In the whole business management waste is separated into paper/cardboard, wood and metal. These materials are delivered at municipal recycling companies. Drinks are ordered exclusively in reusable packaging forms delivered by suppliers from the region. This reduces transport and promotes the neighborhood economy.
Single companies, which have reached a level of low resource consumption and of high energy efficiency as well as in environment and climate protection, can take part in the Environmental Alliance of Saxony brought to life in 1998. This voluntary engagement contributes to the discharge of the environment excelling the legally given frame.
The Heckert Solar AG manufactures with an actual capacity of 110 MWp polycrystalline and mono-crystalline high-performance modules of different dimensions and performance classes for the photovoltaic in the location of the city of Chemnitz, Germany. Since the setting up in 2001 the family-owned company is committed to quality and performance. The modules produced exclusively in Germany feature an excellent product quality and a high module efficiency. Because of the compact design with only 54 solar cells installers refer to Heckert Solar modules for rooftop installations on agricultural buildings, family homes, garages, carports or similar. The own-developed aluminum frame featuring a 38 mm extruded profile and the 4-mm ESG solar glass optimize stability and robustness leading to the certification of the TÜV according to the “mechanical load test” for the snow load of 5400 Pa.
